Illustration Series for Alliance San Diego

I collaborated with Alliance San Diego to create a series of five illustrations for each of their five program streams: Right to Equality, Liberty, Safety, Voice, and Well-Being. The goal of this series was to translate each program stream into a visual metaphor as part of their civic engagement resources.

This series uses a cohesive gardening theme to translate complex human rights concepts into accessible, symbolic imagery. Each stream is visualized as part of a shared ecosystem of community care, where equality is cultivated, safety is protected, liberty is tended, voice is planted, and well-being is nurtured. Through this lens, civic engagement and human rights are framed not as abstract systems, but as living practices shaped through collective action.
