Artists for Planned Parenthood 2026

I partnered with Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest to create a piece for Artists for Planned Parenthood. This year’s theme was “Fighting for liberation through community care.”

At a time when our rights are increasingly under attack, Planned Parenthood aims to showcase art that explores the networks of support that sustain us and our communities

My piece, “We Take Care of Us”, embodies how in moments when systems fail us, community care becomes a way of protecting each other, showing up for one another, and remembering that we are not alone.

The figures in my piece form a circle around the viewer, creating a sense of protection, connection, and collective support. The flowers and vines wrapping around their arms symbolize the threads of care that bind us together and help us heal, grow, and resist together. I wanted this piece to feel immersive - as though the viewer is being held and protected within the circle. My hope for this piece was to reflect the idea that healing and liberation are not individual acts, but something we build together.
